One car that I think that everyone in the world is going to fall in love with is the Hyundai i40c. This car, while not in production until 2011, it is one car that is going to not only be affordable, but it is a car that is going to look good and it is going to be one car that everyone wants.
The Hyundai i40c is going to be fully equipped with four petrol engines with direct fuel injection, which to me is very, very important. The average fuel consumption on this car is going to be about 100km per liter.
While the Hyundai i40c is not going to be a car that is going to be imported in the US for quite a while, it is still a car that people are going to buy still. Hyundai is the brand that won car of the year, which personally, I can understand why! Because they come up with cars like the Hyundai i40c!

If there is one thing that I have noticed about Ford, it is that their prices have gone way down. Normally, for a sports car of the Mustang’s class, you are going to be shelling out at least thirty grand right? Not anymore! Nowadays, Ford has lowered their prices down and you can get the 2010 Mustang Base Coupe for just over twenty thousand dollars, which is a fantastic price for a sports car that looks great and feels fantastic.
Some of the 2010 Mustang Base Coupe’s specs include: 4,009 cc 4.0 liters V 6 front engine with 100.4 mm bore, 84.4 mm stroke, 9.7 compression ratio, overhead cam and two valves per cylinder 99N, 16.1 gallon main unleaded fuel tank 13.4 and finally, the power at a remarkable 157 kW, 210 HP SAE at 5,300 rpm; 240 ft lb, 325 Nm at 3,500 rpm. All of that for just over twenty grand? Remarkable price!

So can I tell you guys about the all new Ford Explorer Sport Trac? If you are in the market for an affordable, great looking, durable and all around incredible truck, the Ford Explorer Sport Trac is definitely going to be it! This truck actually works as both an SUV as well as a pickup truck and no matter what your needs are, this truck can suit all of them. Whether you are looking to off-road it, or you are looking to move, the Ford Explorer Sport Trac is the truck for you to pick up!
One thing that I love about this truck is the price – something has to be said about the Ford Company in general. They are the only car company that has avoided bankruptcy and that honestly says something about them – while I am not the biggest Ford fan, I can appreciate a good company when I see one and Ford is a good company.
The Ford Explorer Sport Trac tops out at about $25,000 and that is a great price for a durable truck like this one!

Finding an affordable car nowadays is something that a lot of people are struggling with – if you are one of those people, just remember that you can get your salesmen to agree to your price, you really just need to haggle your way down. That brings us to the Honda Fit Hybrid. This car is one of the few that you do not have to haggle the price down for it is just over fifteen thousand and for a hybrid Honda car, that is extremely reasonable!
This car is actually going to be released in the fall of 2010, but it is definitely one of the best cars in the world! Not only does the Honda Fit Hybrid have the Honda name behind it, but if you want a quality car that is going to last you quite a long time, you absolutely need to make sure that you do a little research!

Although all of us in the US are scared of what is going to happen to the automotive industry, for those of us that are concerned with the environment, you can rest assured that China is taking care of us. The Coda is the newest, greatest and latest car to be imported from China to the US and it is a five passenger sedan that is completely electric! This car runs on Chinese batteries and while that will most likely change when it comes to the US, the Coda is definitely the first step in getting fully electric cars.
This car can run on its batteries 90 to 120 miles per charge and it will start selling in California next year and then throughout the country later in the year. It will run roughly forty-five thousand, but to be honest, if you do not have to buy gas, that really is a good idea.
So what do you think? About us importing another car that is and a completely electric car? Let me know!

Kia takes the wraps off the next elegant, almost luxury class sedan during the Seouil Motor Show. The concept that may be in production version soon is called KND-5 or better known by insiders as the VG.
The KND-5 at first glance looks like a version of the Hyudai Azera and has similarities with the BMW 7-series. The KND-5 will be on sale in South Korea latter part of 2009 and will be rolling down the US dealerships after.
The KND-5 completes the fleet of Kia as the near luxury sedan with its siblings, like the Lotze or Amanti, classified as midsized sedans.
The VG strikes a nice stance with its very elegant lines from front to end. It will blast the road with its LED headlamps like the other luxury sedan competitors in the market today.

The grille of the concept car remains true to its symbolism of the tigers roar for continued countenance. The designers also installed twenty inch wheels to further refine the look of the new member of the Kia line up.

Kia introduces its new compact car, the 2010 Kia Forte at the Chicago Auto Show. The tasteful compact vehicle is a first for Kia, with its remarkably flared front fenders, distinct shoulder lines, bad-ass headlights, and a smoother body frame. This new design is the work of Kia Cars’ chief design officer Peter Schreyer.
The 2010 Kia Forte will be available in three options: LX, EX, and the SX model. The LX and EX models comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has 156 hp and 144 lb-ft of torque, available in a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission.
There is a talk that a fuel-efficient model will soon be offered—a five-speed automatic transmission with an electric power train. This electric model is said to be good at producing 36 mpg on highways.

Ford Car Talk, my favorite Ford blog out there, has just updated with these great photos of the upcoming 2010 Ford Fiesta, which will also be available in the United States!

More pics and an excellent article on Ford Car Talk.
“The Fiesta is similar to the Ford Focus in size and will be marketed as a sedan and a hatchback.
The marketing program will be maximizing the long term drive test but will also invite a number of people for a one-time test drive of the Ford Fiesta.
The American car manufacturer foresees the demand for the new vehicle at around 30000 to 70000 units on a yearly basis. This is still a rough figure without taking into account the jump or dive in the future price of gasoline.
The test units will have a 1.6L power plant that produces 120 horsepower in its engine bay.”

Toyota is playing the crisis very aggressively and I’m seriously hoping a lot of car manufacturers will follow in the next couple weeks/months when they see sales drop further due to the credit punch.
Here’s an excerpt from the Toyota Car Fans:
[Toyota is] giving away $2,000 to $4,000 dealer cash or customer rebates for units like Tundra pickup and 2008 Tundra. Hybrid cars will have dealer cash of $750 on its hood. For Corolla, the manufacturer is putting in $1,500 as cash rebate for customers for both its base and the LE trim levels. The rest of its trim levels will have $1,250. The trim levels of Camry will also have a customer cash of $1,000. Its dealer cash will be at $500.
